Because cats are territorial by nature, I believe they deserve the best care possible in their own familiar surroundings. Knowing how anxious and stressed many cats can become in kennels, I opened Care 4 Creatures in 2003 to give pet owners another option for their care. By staying in their own homes, cats can maintain their familiar surroundings, routines, and comforts while their owners are away.
Certified in pet psychology, I have extensive knowledge of cat body language. This experience helps me understand when a cat feels nervous, uncomfortable, frightened, or simply wants some space. With an understanding of their behavior, I can often earn the trust of shy cats—however I do not accept cats with extreme aggression issues.
My experience also extends well beyond cats. I have cared for hundreds of small and exotic pets over the years, including rabbits, sugar gliders, ferrets, chinchillas, hedgehogs, guinea pigs, rodents, fish, snakes, lizards, turtles, birds, and more.
After more than two decades in the pet care business, I truly love what I do and take pride in providing the individualized care that helps both pets and their owners feel comfortable while they are apart.
